Current Limitations
TreePlotter Mobile is in active beta. The following are known gaps today — all of the corresponding workflows remain fully available in TreePlotter Desktop:
- Custom fields are not supported; Mobile displays core inventory fields only.
- Multi-stem trees: only a single DBH value is supported per tree.
- Work task and work order creation must be done in Desktop (task completion works fully in Mobile).
- Tree history is not yet viewable in Mobile.
- Service requests are not yet supported in Mobile.
- Only ESRI satellite imagery is available as a basemap; other basemap options aren’t yet supported.
- User roles and permissions from Desktop aren’t yet enforced in Mobile; every Mobile user currently has full editing access. Because of this, only grant Mobile access to trusted users while this is being built out.
