How To: Create a Service Request

This How To details the process for creating a Service Request. Depending on your application configuration Service Requests can be created from an internal user or from an external public-facing request button.

Steps to Create a Service Request (internal user):

1. From the Layer dropdown menu within the Legend, select the Service Request layer
2. Select the ‘ADD’ button in the top right corner of the application
   • Select a method:
     • Map – allows users to freely place a service request point on the map
     • Address – allows users to enter an address to drop a point onto
3. Once added the Service Request Details Form will automatically open

Steps to Create a Service Request (external user):

1. Select the ‘Request’ button in the top right corner of the application
2. Once added, the Service Request Details Form will automatically open
   • To connect the Service request to a location there are two options
     • Map – Click the Globe icon in the request form to select a location from the map
     • Address – Click the ‘FIND ADDRESS’ button to enter an address to drop a point onto
3. Once added, fill in the Service Request Details Form and Submit the Form

Known Limitations:

• The Linked Asset table is not editable
